Delivery of the 1st new Flight Inspection Aircraft to Airports Authority of India (AAI)Within the contract framework between Aerodata and Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the delivery of two flight inspection aircraft, on 2nd of June 2023 the first factory new aircraft King Air 360 equipped with the latest generation of Flight Inspection System AeroFIS®, was handed over to our customer.

Within this project, Aerodata took the responsibility for the purchase of two basic aircraft, the design and production of the Flight Inspection Systems as well as for the integration into the aircraft and all related services such as EASA certification, ferry flights, training for pilots, maintenance technicians and flight inspectors.

By the handover of this aircraft AAI’s flight inspection fleet, based on two Dornier 228 and one King Air 350 (all AeroFIS® equipped) is further enlarged to comply with AAI’s demands for flight inspection and flight validation.

The position reference of the flight inspection system is a hybrid multi-constellation phase tracking GNSS solution, that includes AHRS, Barometric Altitude, GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO as well as SBAS (GAGAN) and combinations hereof.

This delivery marks the continuation of the successful cooperation between AAI and Aerodata for the next decades.
